Hello lovely bloggy friends, I hope you are all fine and dandy ,are we really in may already , it is lovely to think summer is fastly approaching, I have been out in the garden today pottering about , tidying around , putting all my flower and veg seeds into trays and hoping the beastly slugs don't eat them all like last year !! and I am really hoping we have a decent summer this year too
Last weekend was the festival of vintage at York racecourse, it was the first time I have ever been to something like this and I loved it I was in vintage heaven , there was so much to look at ,shows , stalls, dancing ,watching ladies having there hair and makeup done ,fashion shows , all the gorgeous outfits people were wearing , it was well worth a visit and I will definitely be going next year, I did not manage to take any pictures I was so busy looking round , I did buy some gorgeous vintage fabrics and lots of these crochet and lace doilies some of which I have made into bunting
As always I have been busy with my online shops , I kept these pretty cushions for myself as I just could not part with them but been making lots of pretty things like bunting , heart garlands in loads of pretty colours, quilts , crochet cushions and aprons and bags
